DAY 1 Reykjavik
Welcome to Reykjavik! On arrival at Keflavik airport, you will be transferred by taxi to your accommodation. The rest of the day is at leisure. You may explore Iceland's capital city on your own if time allows.

Day 2 Reykjavik
Meet your tour guide at 09.00hrs and get ready to discover the world's northernmost capital and its culinary delights. Learn about Reykjavik's fascinating history and stop by its many landmarks such as the popular church of Hallgrimskirkja and the University campus. At the charming harbour, observe the colourful fishing vessels, the beautiful mountain backdrop, and the spectacular concert hall and conference center of Harpa. Next head to Bessastaoir, the official residence of the president of Iceland. Here you will get a better understanding of the nation's history and democratic traditions while enjoying the surrounding natural beauty that typifies the Icelandic landscape. Later, embark on a gastronomic journey where delicious treats await, before returning to Harpa to enjoy the Volcano Express, an immersive experience into Iceland's volcanic nature.

DAY 3 Reykjavik - West Iceland
Cross the Holtavorduheidi plateau taking you into West Iceland. Drive through Borgarfjordur, a region recognised for its lovely volcanic and wooded scenery and for its Viking history. Stop by the powerful rushing waters of Deildartunguhver, Europe’s mightiest hot spring area. Next, admire the beautiful Hraunfossar waterfalls where brightly blue water rushes through black lava formations. A short walk upstream leads to Barnafoss, a waterfall with even more brilliantly blue colours and discover the interesting and poignant legend associated with this waterfall. Continue to Husafell where you will enter a man-made ice tunnel in Langjökull glacier, Iceland's second largest glacier. Descend into the glacier and explore its icy netherworld as you learn how they are formed and its importance to Iceland.

DAY 4 West Iceland - Golden Circle
Start today's journey at Hvammsvik Natural Hot Springs for a relaxing and invigorating bath, where you relish in an uninterrupted view of the Fjord and the Atlantic Ocean while soaking in its warm and therapeutic waters. After a rejuvenating soak, proceed to Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site of immense historical, cultural and geological significance. While you learn about the past of the area, enjoy an exciting walk in a dramatic rift valley formed by the separation of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Home to Oxararfoss Waterfall and the beautiful Thingvallavatn Lake with its surrounding lush green meadows, the park promises great photo opportunities. After, take part in a geothermal tasting experience at Fontana Geothermal Bakery where you will be able to taste rye bread freshly baked in nearby hot springs accompanied by butter, eggs and herring. Continue to Frioheimar, an impressive greenhouse complex showcasing a tomato farm, a winery, a restaurant and Icelandic horse stables. Learn about Iceland's use of geothermal energy in agriculture and meet face-to-face with the country's fluffiest and friendliest natives, the Icelandic horse. Drive to the magnificent Gullfoss, known as the 'Golden Falls', and enjoy the view of the falling waters over a 32-meter plunge against the backdrop of dramatic rock formations and mist. Next, stop at the exciting Geysir where you will witness the naturally occurring eruption of bubbling water 15-20 meters up in the air before ending the day at your accommodation - the family run Hotel Geysir on the doorstop of the geothermal area of Geysir and Strokkur in the historic Haukadalur Valley.

DAY 5 Golden Circle - South Coast
This morning, venture to the South Shore of Iceland, commencing at the renowned Skogafoss Waterfall to marvel at its falling waters, which often produce vibrant rainbows amidst a scenery of lush green moss and dramatic cliffs. Visit the famous Seljalandsfoss Waterfall that allows people to fully encircle it by following a slick and wet trail. Explore the charming Skogar Folk Museum that features over 15,000 artifacts in an impressive collection encompassing fishing, farming and cultural traditions. Upon its conclusion, continue to the stunning jet-black sands of Reynisfjara Beach and its impressive hexagonal basalt columns. Take in the otherworldly landscape, with its hectic bird colonies, sea caves and view of the imposing Reynisdrangar Sea Stacks in the North Atlantic Ocean. Finally, make a short stop at the village of Vik before returning to Geysir.

DAY 6 South Coast - Reykjanes Peninsula - Blue Lagoon - Reykjavik
Begin the day at Kerio, one of Iceland's most stunning volcanic craters. Featuring a perfectly round volcanic caldera with aquamarine water at the bottom, this picturesque crater is a geological wonder due to its vibrant red sediments and striking beauty. Then visit the iconic Blue Lagoon, renowned for its strikingly vivid blue-turquoise and mineral-rich waters. Soak and relax in a surreal, lunar-like setting of volcanic rocks and moss, before heading to the captivating and geologically abundant Reykjanes Peninsula. Due to its high level of volcanic activity, the peninsula has a unique landscape with numerous features like dramatic fissures, bubbling hot springs and extensive lava fields. Slightly northwards, stop at the Bridge Between Continents that lies on one of the world's largest plate boundaries. Subsequently, arrive at Iceland's oldest lighthouse, Reykjanesviti, perched on a rocky promontory which is a picture-perfect location to capture scenic vistas of the coast. Lastly, finish the day at Gunnuhver, a geothermal area bursting with boiling mud pools, fumaroles and vibrant colours from surrounding rocks and minerals that give it an extra-terrestrial atmosphere.

Day 7 Reykjavik
After breakfast, your tour concludes with a shared departure transfer to Keflavik airport for your onward journey.
