DAY 1 Saariselka
On arrival at Ivalo Airport, you will be met for a group transfer to your hotel. The legendary Saariselka is the northernmost travel destination in Finland and boasts a variety of services. In Inari and other villages in the area, the Sami culture is still very much in evidence in everyday life. Here is where you find the genuine Lapland.

DAY 2 Saariselka
Capture the true feeling of winter in the northern woods as you explore, with snowshoes, the nearby white wilderness of forest and hills and Urho Kekkonen National Park, surrounding Saariselka. The afternoon is free for you to spend at leisure. Perhaps step into the Finnish sauna available at your hotel, or later join the optional Evening Safari where you can ride on a Heated Sleigh in search of the Northern Lights.

DAY 3 Saariselka – Rovaniemi
Continue your adventure by making your way to Rovaniemi. Along the way, stop by a Sami Reindeer Farm where you will meet traditional Sami farmers who will speak to you about the reindeer and their importance to Sami culture. Sitting in a two-person sleigh, pulled by your reindeer, you will experience a short ride in this traditional and peaceful way of moving through the white snow landscape where the only sound you will hear is the jingle of reindeer bells. A typical three course lunch is included at the farm. Afterwards, check-in to your hotel and begin your Christmas adventure as you enjoy the remaining afternoon at leisure. Later, enjoy a traditional buffet Lappish dinner with the opportunity to round off the night with the unique experience of a Finnish sauna. Tonight there is also an opportunity to join the optional Aurora Borealis Safari by Snowmobiles where you will search for Northern Lights and enjoy a warm beverage and snacks by a campfire.

DAY 4 Rovaniemi – Santa Claus Village – Rovaniemi
Enjoy a Scandinavian breakfast buffet before you make your way to a Husky Farm and Safari. The barking of enthusiastic dogs will welcome you to the most genuine Husky farm in Rovaniemi. After brief instructions, you will embark, riding in pairs, on a ride through the forest behind your pack of huskies (3 km). The day continues with a visit to the world famous Santa Claus Village, built on the Arctic Circle and home to Santa Claus. Stop by his busy post office where you can ask Santa to send a letter to your loved ones just before Christmas. Take a step into the magical world of Santa´s home and meet Santa himself. This is an absolute must for any visit to Lapland. Later this afternoon, children can participate in the traditional activity of decorating the Christmas tree and be treated by a visit from Santa Claus. Tonight you will enjoy a Christmas Eve Gala dinner at your hotel.

DAY 5 Rovaniemi – Ranua Wildlife Park – Rovaniemi
Explore the magnificent Ranua Wildlife Park, situated 1 hour south of Rovaniemi, and home to an array of Arctic and northern animal species. Enjoy a guided tour of the beautiful park set amongst northern conifer forests, the natural habitat of most of the animals and birds. After lunch, you will be given time to freely explore the surrounding area. You may want to visit the souvenir shops, the Fazer factory and the local wine shop with their unique selection of wines. Later, return to Rovaniemi with the remainder of the afternoon at leisure. In the evening enjoy a Christmas Gala Dinner buffet at your hotel.

DAY 6 Rovaniemi
Travel south following the winding roads through the snowy forest and arriving at the unique Santa's Igloos, where you will check-in to your private Glass Igloo. Enjoy the warmth of your Glass Igloo and weather permitting you will have the opportunity to marvel at the amazing Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) and the millions of stars from the comfort of your own bed. Tonight, you can join an optional tour to float beneath the stars on an Aurora Ice Floating trip.

DAY 7 Rovaniemi
Your tour concludes after breakfast with a group transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
