DAY 1 Tallinn
Welcome to Tallinn! On arrival, your tour commences with an optional transfer to your hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure. You may begin exploring Tallinn, the capital and most populous city of Estonia, which is truly a hidden gem in Europe, known for having many faces. This evening, join your fellow travellers and Tour Manager at a Welcome Meeting, before finding yourself a good restaurant and trying Estonian food such as rosolje, frikadellisupp or kringel.

DAY 2 Tallinn
With captivating history, culture and undeniable charm, Tallin is truly a hidden gem in Europe. Explore the walled city of Tallinn on a morning tour, seeing Toompea Castle, Dome Cathedral and the Old Town Hall, as well as entering the medieval Great Guild HalI. In the afternoon, we recommend an optional excursion to Kadriorg Park with its baroque palace and KUMU, an award-winning art museum. Lastly, why not attend an optional medieval dinner at a restaurant.

DAY 3 Tallinn
Today offers an optional excursion to Lahemaa National Park where you visit Palmse Manor, Sagadi Manor and Vihula Manors, with the tour concluding at the Vodka Museum. Otherwise, you can spend it as you like, delving into the arts and culture of Tallinn by visiting interesting places such as Hotel Viru & KGB Museum or Telliskivi Creative City. Alternatively, see how the locals live by browsing the Balti Jaama Turg market and find yourself some treats!

DAY 4 Tallinn - Tartu
Continue to Tartu, where Estonia gained its statehood, and see its charming Old Town and the university founded in 1632. The city also houses the Supreme Court of Estonia, the Ministry of Education and Research and the first national theatre Vanemuine, as well as the birthplace of the Estonian Song Festivals. We highly recommend you to visit the National Museum, dedicated to Estonian cultural history and everyday life from the Ice Age to present day.

DAY 5 Tartu - Grasi
Head south into Latvia and have a short break in Aluksne, before reaching Stameriena Palace, the pearl of European romanticism with close links to Italian writer Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa. After the visit, proceed to Cesvaine for the small private beer brewery where you are invited to test the produce. Later in the afternoon, check into Grasi Manor, a picturesque classicism style estate in the middle of the country for a wonderful dinner and overnight.

DAY 6 Grasi - Daugavpils
Leaving Grasi, your first stop is to visit Aglona Basilica, built in late barque style, and a ceramics workshop in Preili. Soon, arrive at Daugavpils and tour its historical centre and see the 19th century Daugavpils Fortress, followed by the Mark Rothko Art Centre. The latter is the only place in Europe to view the original masterpieces by this famous founder of abstract expressionism. Just outside the city is your accommodation for the night, the Sventes Manor.

DAY 7 Daugavpils - Vilnius
Drive southwards into Lithuania and by the middle of the day, stretch your legs at Aukstatija National park with its many lakes, rivulets and streams scattered between forests and hills. Explore the park on a light walk through the scenic landscapes and visit the pretty lakeside town of Paluse, famous for its wooden church. Finally, get to Vilnius and check into your hotel, and the remainder of the day is yours to unwind or wander around this enchanting capital.

DAY 8 Vilnius
Vilnius is a maze of baroque-inspired architecture, cobblestone streets and historic monuments. Your walking tour shows you the Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, Old University, 16th century Gates of the Dawn and visits Peter and Paul Church. Afterwards, embark an optional excursion to the Palace of Grand Dukes of Lithuania, a cohesive blend of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque style, to learn about the fortifications and its collection of armaments.

DAY 9 Vilnius
A free day to do as you wish in Vilnius, being the largest city in the country, as well as the second-most populous in the Baltics. There are lots of interesting museums to visit such as Museum of Occupations and Freedom Fights or beautiful parks to relax at. Otherwise, there is an optional excursion to Trakai, the medieval capital of Lithuania, for a tour of the well-preserved Trakai Castle. In the evening, enjoy an optional Lithuanian dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 10 Vilnius - Nida
This morning, make your way to Kaunas, former capital of Lithuania, to admire its beautiful Old Town and the elegant white baroque Town Hall. After enjoying a short walking tour in Klaipeda, take the ferry to Curonian Spit, a large sand dune separating the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea, and on to the resort town of Nida. This evening, there is an optional to enjoy an authentic fisherman's dinner at Tik Pas Jona.

DAY 11 Nida - Liepaja
Enjoy a free morning for your own or go on a half-day optional excursion to the Curonian Spit which takes you to the spectacular Parnidis Dune and Naglis Dune, the Hill of Witches in Juodkrante and Thomas Mann’s summerhouse. In the early afternoon, depart for the port city of Liepaja and later, you have the option for a casual dinner at a beach café, Red Sun Buffet, located right on the wide sandy beach.

DAY 12 Liepaja - Riga
Liepaja takes its name from the numerous linden trees in the city. Start the day with a short stroll in the Old Town with the Trinity Church, visit Jurmala Park and the former Naval Port area with its famous Orthodox Cathedral. Continue through Southern Latvia to the magnificent Rundale Palace and enjoy a guided tour of this former summer residence of the Duke of Courland. At last, head to Riga and get a feel for the capital city and cultural centre by walking around.

DAY 13 Riga
Riga, founded in 1201, is a true kaleidoscope of architectural styles. Tour the city beginning with the Art Nouveaux district and the Old Town to see Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, the Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, Freedom Monument and so on. Subsequently, consider an optional visit to Jurmala, famous for its wooden architecture and sandy beaches, while the evening is excellent for an optional organ concert at the Dome Cathedral.

DAY 14 Riga
After breakfast, your tour concludes with an optional departure transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
