DAY 1 Rovaniemi
Arrive in Rovaniemi and transfer from the airport to your magical escape for the next 2 nights, the Vaattunki Wilderness Resort. The resort is located in the beautiful wilderness, only a 20 minute drive from the city centre and a 12 minute drive from Santa Claus Village. On arrival, check-in and pick up your thermal clothing set (overall, boots, woollen socks and gloves). You will be staying in panoramic design huts surrounded by lush forests and fresh air near the Raudanjoki river. Get to know your trip leader and fellow travellers over dinner tonight.

DAY 2 Rovaniemi
Mid morning transfer to take you to the magical Santa Claus Village. You will have 3 hours to explore the village filled with souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants, visit Santa's Post Office and possibly have the opportunity to meet Santa Claus. After dinner, you have the remainder of the evening at leisure. You may choose to head out on an optional adventure for the Northern Lights electric snowmobile safari. The electric snowmobile is a fantastic way to experience the Arctic wilderness without disturbing the silent and peaceful wintery nature.

DAY 3 Rovaniemi - Jukkasjarvi
This morning say farewell to Finland as you travel by coach and head north to Sweden. Afternoon arrival at the Ice Hotel, check in to your Kaamos (warm) room. If you are feeling adventurous you have the option of experiencing a night staying in an Ice Room at a balmy minus 5 degrees. Sleeping on a special bed made of snow and ice and covered by reindeer skin, you will be toasty warm with your purpose made thermal sleeping bag (supplementary charge). Your evening will be spent at leisure.

DAY 4 Jukkasjarvi
Spend the day at leisure in this incredible winter paradise. Perhaps embark on optional dog sledding tour or enjoy a relaxing stroll in the white landscape.

DAY 5 Jukkasjarvi - Tromso
After breakfast you will be transferred by coach to the train station, where you will board the local train for your scenic journey to Narvik. Traverse through stunning Arctic landscapes and numerous tunnels and bridges as you witness views of majestic fjords and dramatic mountains that tower in the distance. Arrive into Narvik where you will board your coach and travel along the 'Arctic route' to Tromso. Arrive into Tromso mid evening, settle in and enjoy a tasty dinner.

DAY 6 Tromso
After breakfast head out for a day at leisure exploring the interesting Arctic city of Tromso. Tromsø is the world’s most northern university town and the largest city in the Nordic countries north of the Arctic Circle. The city lies between the sharp craggy peaks of the Lyngen Alps, and combines wild scenery with urban life. Due to the city’s location right in the middle of the planet’s Northern Lights belt, Tromsø offers the world’s best chances of spotting the Northern Lights. You have the option as well to embark on an optional Arctic fjord cruise or an optional tour to chase the famous Northern Lights.

DAY 7 Tromso
After breakfast your tour concludes with a shared transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
