DAY 1 Oslo
Welcome to Oslo! On arrival make your way to your hotel followed by the remainder of your day free to explore the Norwegian capital.

DAY 2 Oslo – Myrdal – Flam
This legendary tour takes you through Norway’s breathtaking fjord and mountain scenery. The Flam Railway is regarded as one of the highlights of Norway, taking you from the mountain station of Myrdal to Flam, deep into the fjords, giving you views of the magnificent mountains and the frozen fjord landscape.

DAY 3 Flam – Gudvangen – Voss – Bergen
Today starts with a cruise along the Aurlandsfjord and the Naeroyfjord, the narrowest fjord in Europe, to Gudvangen. From Gudvangen take a drive to Voss where you continue your journey by rail to Bergen. Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel.

DAY 4 Bergen
Enjoy a full day to explore Bergen, the stunning capital of the fjords surrounded by its famed seven mountains. We recommend to explore the cosy, narrow cobblestone alleys and quaint old wooden houses of Bergen's famous Bryggen, the Hanseatic wharf. A ride on the Floibanen cable car will take you to the top of Mount Floyen for magnificent views of Bergen and the surrounding mountains, for those feeling more energetic we recommend walking to the top of Mount Floyen.
This afternoon, please make your own way to the port to board your Havila Voyage. This evening as the ship sets sail, enjoy a tasty dinner based on the best ingredients from the coast. Spend the rest of the evening relaxing as you take in the spectacular landscapes, either from deck or in the panorama lounges.

DAY 5 Floro - Alesund - Molde
After the first night on board, you can start the day by waving to Havila Kystruten's head office near Torvik. In Ålesund, a rare harmonious Art Nouveau town awaits with beautiful brick houses and sea stalls. We highly recommend taking the optional shore excursion, Winter Geirangerfjord Cruise, to explore in depth the world heritage fjord Geirangerfjorden with its steep mountain sides and wild waterfalls.

DAY 6 Kristiansund - Trondheim - Rørvik
Today wake up near beautiful Trondheim, founded by the Viking King Olav Tryggvason over a thousand years ago. The landmark in the city is the Nidaros Cathedral; Norway's national shrine and one of Northern Europe's largest cathedrals. In the afternoon the ship heads out of the fjord into a teeming archipelago and towards northern Norway.

DAY 7 Brønnøysund - Lofoten Islands
On this stretch, we mark that you cross the Arctic Circle and travel into the Arctic realm. That means winter has the polar nights - and evenings with the northern lights. Nature here is powerful with Northern Scandinavia's largest glacier, the world's strongest tidal current and encounters with the majesty of the air; the sea eagle. In the evening Lofoten awaits with fishing villages, steep mountains and Vikings.

DAY 8 Stokmarknes - Tromso
The voyage continues through narrow fjords and wild mountains to Tromso, a city characterised by fishing culture, polar expeditions and daring. It is also the land of the Sami, Norway's indigenous people and blends with its modern status of the Paris of the North. On arrival in Tromso, make your way to your hotel for check in and some time to settle in before this evenings exciting Northern Lights Tour.
Tromso is located in the heart of the Northern Lights Zone and tonight, along with your specialist local guide, you will find the best area for viewing the lights. Your guide will also look out for the most scenic spots to take pictures while entertaining you with local folklore and the science behind the stunning Northern Lights.

DAY 9 Tromso
Camp Tamok is located in the Tamok valley, a 75 minute drive from Tromso. A full day spent at Camp Tamok is an unforgettable experience in the Arctic wilderness of Norway. Upon arrival, you will be provided with warm winter clothing, boots and gear before you head out to meet an eager team of huskies waiting to take you on an exhilarating sledding adventure through the snowy terrain. As you mush, the excited dogs will run at full speed and the sled glides effortlessly over the snowdrifts with the skids hissing softly in the snow. Stop halfway for a photo break in the wilderness with the possibility to change drivers.
Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while warming yourself by the campfire inside the lavvu. During your free time between activities you can try out the snow slope and snowshoes, spend time with your guide who will share stories from the local area or you can relax in the camp with a good book. Before your evening activity you can try the traditional Norwegian way of grilling the sausages at the campfire.
This evening is reserved for chasing the Northern Lights. The Tamok Valley is the ideal setting to experience the Aurora Borealis as the camp is far removed from the bright city lights and situated in a drier climate zone producing many cloud-free night skies. After a presentation about the lights and how to photograph them you will be taken to different locations around the camp to observe the northern lights. When it is time to warm up by the open fire in the lavvu.

Day 10 Tromso
With time at leisure to explore today you could check out one of the most unique-looking churches in the world, the Arctic Cathedral, which looks like a horizontal cascade of triangles stacked together like dominos. You can see the cathedral from almost anywhere in the city, a beam of white light in the dark of winter. We also recommend taking the cable car to the top of Storsteinen Mountain for the best views over the island of Tromsoya and Kvaloya - one of the most popular experiences for visitors to do in Tromso.
