DAY 1 Bergen
Your coastal adventure begins in Bergen, a city surrounded by its famed seven mountains. Before departure you may wish to explore this cultural gateway to the fjords by wandering the cobblestone alleyways, visiting the fish markets or ride the funicular up Mt Floyen for magnificent views over the city. This evening as the ship sets sail, enjoy a tasty dinner based on the best ingredients from the coast. Spend the rest of the evening relaxing as you take in the spectacular landscapes, either from deck or in the panorama lounges.

DAY 2 Floro - Alesund - Molde
After the first night on board, you can start the day by waving to Havila Kystruten's head office near Torvik. In Ålesund, a rare harmonious Art Nouveau town awaits with beautiful brick houses and sea stalls, and in the summer season you can continue on to the world heritage fjord Geirangerfjorden with its steep mountain sides and wild waterfalls.

DAY 3 Kristiansund - Trondheim - Rørvik
Today wake up near beautiful Trondheim, founded by the Viking King Olav Tryggvason over a thousand years ago. The landmark in the city is the Nidaros Cathedral; Norway's national shrine and one of Northern Europe's largest cathedrals. In the afternoon the ship heads out of the fjord into a teeming archipelago and towards northern Norway.

DAY 4 Brønnøysund - Lofoten Islands
On this stretch, we mark that you cross the Arctic Circle and travel into the Arctic realm. That means summer with the midnight sun, while winter has night-black days - and evenings with the northern lights. Nature here is powerful with Northern Scandinavia's largest glacier, the world's strongest tidal current and encounters with the majesty of the air; the sea eagle. In the evening Lofoten awaits with fishing villages, steep mountains and Vikings.

DAY 5 Stokmarknes - Tromso - Skjervøy
The voyage continues through narrow fjords and wild mountains to Tromsø, a city characterised by fishing culture, polar expeditions and daring. It is also the land of the Sami, Norway's indigenous people and blends with its modern status of the Paris of the North. Tromso has a range of restaurants and shopping, along with many natural and cultural attractions.

DAY 6 Hammerfest - Honningsvag - Berlevag
After brief early stops in Hammerfest and Havøysund you will arrive in Honningsvåg, the gateway to the spectacular North Cape. There is lots of traffic in the harbour in Honningsvåg with fishermen who come here to deliver the catch, and tourists come to experience the North Cape. In the evening, pass the rock landmark Finnkirka ("The Finn Church") on the approach to Kjøllefjord, the innermost part of the fjord which has been a safe haven for fishermen, Sami and traders for the last 500 years.

DAY 7 Batsfjord – Kirkenes
Early birds can see Vadsø and just after breakfast the ship arrives in Kirkenes, where your coastal voyage ends. Should you like to have some extra Arctic experiences while you are here, we offer several exciting tours, experiences and excursions in our pre and post programme.
