Day 2 Thessaloniki
This morning, meet your guide and head out on a tour of Thessaloniki. On this immersive tour, explore some of Thessaloniki’s 15 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, each telling its own fascinating story. Begin in the scenic Ano Poli (Upper Town), where you’ll walk along the majestic Byzantine city walls; Once stretching 4 kilometers long and soaring up to 12 meters high, these walls stood as the city’s mighty shield for centuries. From here, take in panoramic views and dive into the city’s spiritual heart with a visit to the Church of Saint Demetrios, the patron saint of Thessaloniki, and its mysterious underground catacombs. Next, head downtown to the city center, where the Rotunda and the iconic Arch of Galerius showcase Thessaloniki’s grandeur during the Roman era. Continue along the seafront promenade and reach the city’s most beloved landmarks: the White Tower and the statue of Alexander the Great, the legendary king of Macedonia. To awaken your senses, stroll through the Kapani Market, the city’s oldest public market. Here, among stalls bursting with fresh produce, spices, and local delicacies, you’ll have the chance to sample authentic Greek flavors and experience the rhythm of everyday life like a true local.

Day 3 Thessaloniki
Today is free at leisure to explore this historical city. Perhaps visit the Archaeological Museum to uncover the culture and history of the city, or take another walk through the Kapani Local Market.

Day 4 Thessaloniki – Kavala
This morning, check out of your hotel and travel to Kavala. Best known for its seaside charm and relaxed pace, the city offers plenty to explore. Upon arrival and check in, he remainder of the day is yours to begin exploring Kavala at leisure. Visit the Imaret, a beautifully preserved Ottoman complex, the Kamares Aqueduct that stretches across the old town, and the Archaeological Site of Philippi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site just outside the city.
A stroll through the old town of Panagia is a must. This historic quarter is filled with colorful houses, cobbled streets, small churches, and traditional cafés overlooking the sea. Local shops offer regional delicacies such as olive oil, sweets, and fresh seafood. From here, make your way to the Castle of Kavala, where panoramic views of the harbor and Aegean Sea reward you at the top.

Day 5 Kavala
Enjoy a free morning to continue your Kavala exploration on your own, before heading out on a jeep tour in the Forest of Elatia, an authentic and unique museum of nature with orgiastic vegetation and wild beauty, with a brunch of local wines, fruits and snacks included. Upon arrival back into Kavala this afternoon, your afternoon is free to relax or explore on your own.

Day 6 Kavala
Today is devoted to exploring the caves of Northern Greece. First, explore the Aggitis Cave, the largest river cave in the world. Its peculiarity lies in the fact that on its floor flows the river Aggitis, with an impressive exit from the river through the mountain. Then move onto the Alistrati Cave, one of the largest caves in Europe. Its rich decoration includes, in addition to huge stalactites and stalagmites in various colors and the rare eccentrics. The main feature of this cave, which makes it unique in Greece, is the very large variety of eccentrics.
