DAY 2 Istanbul

Continue to the Blue Mosque, renowned for its intricate blue tiles and majestic domes, and the Hippodrome, the historic site of chariot races. Explore the architectural wonder of Hagia Sophia (viewed from the exterior), a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture. End the day with a visit to the vibrant Grand Bazaar, one of the world’s oldest and largest covered markets, where you can shop for unique souvenirs and local crafts. Return to your hotel in the evening.

DAY 3 Istanbul
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before setting off for a morning of exploration. Begin by visiting the Spice Market, a colorful and aromatic marketplace where you can experience the essence of Turkish culture through spices, sweets, and herbs. Afterward, embark on a scenic Bosphorus Cruise, a leisurely boat ride along the iconic waterway that divides Europe and Asia, offering breathtaking views of palaces, fortresses, and charming waterfront villages. Return to your hotel.

DAY 4 Istanbul - Cappadocia
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Kayseri*, the gateway to the magical region of Cappadocia. Upon arrival, begin your exploration with a visit to Devrent Valley, renowned for its surreal landscape, where unique fairy chimneys take on fascinating shapes. Enjoy a walk through the valley’s captivating rock formations. Continue to Pasabagi (Monk’s Valley), home to multi-stemmed fairy chimneys, which are some of the most striking formations in the region. Drive to Avanos, a town famous for its pottery-making tradition dating back to the Hittite period. Watch local artisans at work and learn about the craft. After lunch, visit the Göreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage site that features ancient churches, chapels, and monasteries carved into the fairy chimneys. Marvel at the frescoes dating from the 10th to the 13th centuries. Time permitting, take photos in nearby valleys before returning to your hotel.

DAY 5 Cappadocia
After breakfast, meet at the hotel lobby for a full-day excursion to explore Cappadocia’s spectacular landscapes. Visit the Ihlara Valley, a stunning gorge carved from volcanic ash, where you will enjoy a scenic hike along the Melendiz River, stopping to explore rock-hewn churches. Continue to Selime, a fascinating site with an ancient citadel and churches built into the cliffs. Take a brief stop at Yaprakhisar Village, known for its panoramic views and distinctive rock formations, perfect for photo opportunities. In the afternoon, descend into the depths of Derinkuyu Underground City, a remarkable subterranean settlement that once provided shelter for early Christians, complete with stables, refectories, and even churches. Return to your hotel in the evening.
