Day 1 Athens
Welcome to Greece! Your tour commences with an arrival transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your disposal so you may either rest or begin exploring Athens on your own. As the nation's capital and one of the world's oldest cities, it is proudly the birthplace of democracy, arts, science, and philosophy of western civilisation. However, notwithstanding its legacy of glorious history, you will find Athens today a modern cosmopolis coloured with classical ruins, scenic natural beauty, and vibrant culture. For dinner tonight, why not sink your teeth into Greek cuisines such as tzatziki, souvlaki, moussaka, fresh greens and seafood, portokalopita or koulouri with a drink of ouzo or coffee?

Day 2 Athens
After breakfast, join your guide on an Athens sightseeing tour where you will view all the notable landmarks in the city. Starting with the Constitution Square, the House of Parliament, the memorial to the Unknown Soldier and the National Library which holds contemporary significance. Continue to Hadrian's Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus with a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. On reaching the Acropolis, admire the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and the famous Parthenon. Finally, visit the New Acropolis Museum before an afternoon at leisure.

Day 3 Athens - Mycenae - Olympia
In the morning, leave by the coastal road to the Corinth Canal that connects the Gulf of Corinth in the Ionian Sea with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. After, head to the ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, built in 300 BC, renowned for its incredible acoustics, before proceeding to the scenic town of Nafplio for a photo opportunity. Drive on to Mycenea to visit its impressive archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon, whose king it honours is celebrated in the great poet Homer's epic work Iliad for leading the Greeks in the acclaimed Trojan War. Lastly, depart for Olympia through the Central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis to the cradle of the Olympic Games.

Day 4 Olympia - Delphi
Begin the day by visiting the archaeological site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium, the spot where the torch of the modern games is lit and the Archaeological Museum. The history of the Olympic Games goes back around 3,000 years from the 8th century B.C. to the 4th century A.D. where the Peloponnese in Ancient Greece organised sports contests at Olympia that took place every four years. Later, make way through the plains of Ilia and Achaia to the grand Rion Antirion Bridge, then pass by the charming towns of Nafpactos and Itea, to arrive at Delphi.

Day 5 Delphi - Kalambaka
Considered by the ancient Greeks to be the centre of the world, Delphi was where the oracle of Apollo was spoken which divined the future and was consulted before all major undertakings. Developed in the 8th century B.C., it was a major power-player in establishing law and order in the bygone Classical and Hellenistic eras. Today, the sanctuary blends nicely with the superb landscape and this morning, you will visit the archaeological site and the Museum of Delphi that tells you the history and legend of how it all began. Subsequently, depart for Kalambaka, a small, serene and unpolluted town located at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora, for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 Kalambaka - Athens
Meteora, a UNESCO World Heritage listed place meaning 'suspended in the air', is a rock formation hosting one of the largest and most precipitously built complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries, second in importance to Mount Athos. Originally, there were 24 monasteries on these immense natural pillars and hill-like rounded boulders which dominate the local area but through weathering and warfare, only six remain now. Visit them where you can discern exquisite speciments of Byzantine art created by the hermit monks, along with the ruins of the other monasteries. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, and Thermopylae with a short stop to see Leonida's Monument on the road.

Day 7 Athens - Mykonos
Transfer to the port of Piraeus for your fast ferry to Mykonos. After an approximately 2-3-hour journey, you will be met at the port and taken to your hotel on the island. The balance of the day is free so you can find out for yourself why it is a must-visit Greek island. Located in the heart of the Cyclades group, Mykonos has been known as the 'Ísland of the Winds' with its stone-paved alleys, white-washed houses and country chapels and windmills which ooze calm and peace. Stroll around the town and see what tickles your fancy as it can cover a variety of demands for your stay here. In the evening, perhaps sample local gourmet like louza, kopanisti cheese, xinotiro cheese, onion pie or almond cake.

Day 8 Mykonos
According to myth, the island was named after the hero Mykonos, son of Anios (King of Delos), who was born to god Apollo and the nymph Reo. This is also the place where the giants slain by Hercules were buried, hence the island is strewn with big rocks. Today, discover Mykonos in depth by perhaps visiting some of its major sights such as Little Venice of Hora, Church of Paraportiani, Castle of Gyzi, Monastery of Panagia Tourliani and the Neolithic settlement of Ftelia. If you want to venture out further, make sure you visit the nearby Delos Island, deemed to be the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, as it is one of the most important mythological, historical and archaeological sites in Greece.

Day 9 Mykonos
With its cosmopolitan feel and luxurious setting, enjoy the island life by sunbathing and swimming at some of the best beaches in the Aegean, while drinking and dining at award-winning restaurants. There are all sorts of water activities for thrill-seekers like wakeboarding, jet skiing, parasailing, and windsurfing; or if you're a shopaholic, head to Matogianni Street for a high-fashion experience and great people-watching. As sun sets, you will see why Mykonos is widely known as the Ibiza of Greece, as the party never stops, and the vivid nightlife continues to the break of dawn. Otherwise, just relish in the tranquility of the picture-perfect villages and let their beauty and magic sweep you away!

Day 10 Mykonos - Santorini
Transfer to the port of Mykonos for your fast ferry to Santorini. After an approximately 2-hour journey, you will be met at the port and taken to your hotel on the island. The rest of the day is at leisure so see for yourself the dazzling panoramas, romantic sunsets, and volcanic-sand beaches which Santorini is renowned for. Hike from Fira to Oia will present you with stunning scenery as you pass through a few small villages, some remaining virtually untouched by tourism, with the island's traditional architecture on full display. Don't forget to try local delicacies like fava dip, tomato keftedes, kopania, melitinia, apochti and chlorotyri, accompanied by possibly the oldest wine in the world made here.

Day 11 Santorini
Another free day to explore Santorini at your own pace, whether you want to learn more about its history, get into its culture, spend time in nature or interact with the locals. Perhaps visit the ancient Minoan town of Akrotiri, known as 'the Pompeii of Greece' which was devastated and preserved by a massive volcanic eruption in 1642-1540 BC. Stop at Prophet Elias Monastery to admire its pretty Cycladic buildings, remarkable frescoes, rare religious artefacts, and Byzantine sculptures. Cruise around a dormant volcano and swim in the natural hot springs or walk on the pebbly shore of the gorgeous Red Beach. End the day with a coffee at Theotokopoulou Square or bar hopping on the island.

Day 12 Santorini
