DAY 01 Marmaris - Pamukkale
Welcome to Marmaris! On arrival, be transferred to Pamukkale. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the magnificent thermal pools of Pamukkale, one of Turkey’s extraordinary natural wonders.

DAY 02 Pamukkale - Hierapolis - Selcuk - Izmir
After breakfast, visit the ancient city of Hierapolis, a UNESCO Heritage site home to the magnificent Necropolis, basilica, theatre, Roman bath, graveyard and the lime cascade. Next, continue to Selcuk to visit Temple of Artemis one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. End the day in Izmir where you will spend the night.

DAY 03 Izmir - Ephesus - Sirince - Izmir
Journey this morning the ancient city of Ephesus. Visit the House of Virgin Mary before making your way down the winding path to the magnificent marbled Roman ruins of Ephesus. Walk through the Magnesia Gate to visit the Odeon, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan, the Great theatre and the towering 2nd century Celsus Library. Enjoy lunch in a nomadic tent in Selcuk where you will taste local Turkish Gozleme. Continue to marvellous village of Sirince perched high on a hilltop. Use this opportunity to shop and taste delicious wines of the village before returning to Izmir.

DAY 04 Izmir - Bergama - Troy - Canakkale
This morning, depart to Bergama where the ancient Greek city of Pergamum is located, to see the stunning ruins of the well preserved Asklepion located on a hilltop. Continue to the nearby ruins of the ancient city of Troy, founded 5,000 years ago and famous through the tales of the legendary Trojan War in Homer’s Iliad. Explore the remains of the nine levels of civilisation that once were and see the Sacrificial Altars, ancient city walls, Odeon, a reproduction of the Trojan Horse and the current excavations. Afterwards, be transferred to Canakkale where you will spend the night.

DAY 05 Troy
Today, visit the village of Kilitbahir, situated on the eastern shore of Gallipoli peninsula, and dominated by the fortress of the same name. In the late afternoon, head to Gallipoli for dinner and start your overnight wait for the Dawn Service.

Please Note: NO hotel accommodation is booked for this night as you will spend the night (subject to tickets being obtained) waiting for the Dawn Service at ANZAC Cove.

DAY 06 Istanbul
In the early hours of this morning, you will attend the Anniversary Dawn Service at ANZAC Cove. After the service, you will get the opportunity to pay your respects at the battlefields and attend international services before rejoining your tour group aboard your coach for the drive to Istanbul. Arrive in Istanbul in the late afternoon with the remainder of the day at leisure.

DAY 07 Istanbul
Your Western Shore ANZAC tour concludes with a departure transfer for your onward journey.
