Day 1 Istanbul
Commence your tour with an arrival transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to spend at your own leisure to begin your exploration of this fascinating city.

Day 2 Istanbul
Explore the city of sultans on a full day guided tour of the Old District of Istanbul. Enter Topkapi Palace, the home which the Ottoman sultans resided in for over 400 years, and marvel at its sheer royalty and preserved beauty. Witness the tiled charm of the sultan's Blue Mosque before entering the imposing 12th century Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque. End the day wandering around and shopping at the colourful Spice Market.

Day 3 Istanbul - Gallipoli - Canakkale
Begin the day by driving to the battlefields of Gallipoli. See the many sombre war sites including Anzac Cove, the Nek, Lone Pine, Conk Bair and the 57th Regiment Memorial. Afterwards, cross the Dardanelles Strait by ferry to Canakkale where you will spend the night.

Day 4 Canakkale - Troy - Pergamum - Kusadasi
Embark on a journey to the ancient ruins of Troy, founded 5,000 years ago and famous for the tales of the legendary Trojan War. Next, travel across Mount Ida and stop by the historical Greek city of Pergamum, which John in the book of Revelation refers to as the place "where Satan dwelled". See the Acropolis before ending the day at the coastal beach town of Kusadasi.

Day 5 Kusadasi - Ephesus - Kusadasi
Discover the neolithic city of Ephesus and learn about its rich past that dates back to 2,000 years. Later, visit the quaint hilltop village of Sirince and learn about how local Turkish handicrafts such as carpets and tiles are formed before returning to Kusadasi for dinner.

Day 6 Kusadasi - Thyatira - Kusadasi
This morning, drive to the modern town of Akhisar, located on the site of the old Lydian city of Thyatira. This was one of the towns where Christianity spread rapidly and was visited by the apostle Paul in his second or third journey. The ancient city was also the location of one of the Seven Churches of the Apocalypse that were named in the Book of Revelation in the Bible.

Day 7 Kusadasi - Hierapolis - Laodicea - Pamukkale
Drive through the fertile plains of western Turkey to the ancient city of Hierapolis and witness the magnificent Necropolis. After a short tour, continue to Pamukkale, a town known for its mineral-rich waters that cascade down white travertine terraces. These limestone thermal pools are labelled as one of Turkey’s natural wonders and overlook the historical ruins of the Hierapolis. Afterwards, proceed to the ancient ruined city of Laodicea, historically home to one of the Seven Churches of Asia before returning to Pamukkale to spend the night.

Day 8 Pamukkale - Philadelphia - Izmir - Istanbul
Travel to Philadelphia, one of the churches mentioned in the book of Revalations, before driving down to Sardis, the capital of the ancient Kingdom of Lydia, where you will witness remnants of Roman structures including a Roman Synagogue and a well preserved Roman bath-gymnasium. In the late afternoon, arrive at Izmir airport and board for your flight to Istanbul. On arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 9 Istanbul
After breakfast, conclude your journey with a departure transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
