Traverse into a medieval country infused in history on this 8 day tour uncovering the essence of Poland. The journey begins down the royal route at the capital city of Warsaw, where you will walk through vintage aristocratic and Baroque buildings. Take a glimpse of Poland's conflicting past at the Museum of World War II in Gdansk before stepping foot into the large ancient plaza of Krakow. Enter the 700 year old underground UNESCO salt mine and witness its beautifully crafted salt sculptures and grand chambers before ending your adventure in the historical city of Wroclaw.
DAY 1 Warsaw
Your tour commences with an arrival transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to spend at your own leisure to explore the capital of Poland.

DAY 2 Warsaw - Gdansk
Begin today with a guided city tour of the revitalised city of Warsaw. Walk down the Royal Route in the Old Town which features vintage aristocratic residences and Baroque architecture including the Castle Square, Barbican, Chopin's monument and the Holy Cross Church. Along the way, see the Monument of the Ghetto Heroes, which serves as a memorial to commemorate Warsaw's uprising in World War II. Next, continue to the Lazienki Royal Park and witness the beautiful Palace on the Water, the summer home of the last King of Poland. Stop by the National Opera Building, Tomb of the Unknown Solider, Copernicus Statue and the Presidential Palace before transferring to Warsaw railway station where you will board a first class train to Gdansk. On arrival in Gdansk, transfer to your hotel.

DAY 3 Gdansk
Learn about the rich history of Gdansk with your guide on a morning tour of the city. Surround yourself in gothic and Renaissance architecture as you walk down Dluga Street and witness the fortified Prison Tower, the rebuilt Dutch-style Golden Gate, the 14th century Artus Hall Court, and the bronze sculpted Neptune fountain. Stroll down Mariacka Street and see the St Mary's Church before walking down the picturesque Motlawa Riverbank to see the Old Crane. This afternoon, visit the Museum of the Second World War which vividly exhibits Poland's horrific experience during the world war. Finish the day stopping by at the Westerplatte Monument, also known as the Monument to the Defenders of the Coast, which serves as a memorial to commemorate the Polish soldiers who fought to protect Poland.

DAY 4 Gdansk - Krakow
Meet your driver at the lobby of your hotel and be transferred to Gdansk railway station where you will board a first class train to Krakow. On arrival, be transferred to your hotel.

DAY 5 Krakow
This morning, join a group tour to explore the ancient capital of Poland. Enter the Old Town and step foot into the epicenter of Krakow's Main Market Square, the largest medieval plaza in Europe. Visit St Mary's Basilica and witness the beautifully crafted Gothic wooden altar before finishing off the city tour at the circular Barbican Gate. Afterwards, head to Wieliczka where you will venture through the oldest salt mine in Europe. This 700 year old underground mine is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its magnificent salt lakes, grand labyrinth of chambers, and delicately crafted sculptures carved in salt.

DAY 6 Krakow - Wroclaw
After breakfast, transfer to Krakow railway station and board a first class train to Wroclaw. On arrival, be transferred to your hotel.

DAY 7 Wroclaw
Explore with your guide the historical city of Wroclaw, starting with the 13th century cathedral of St. John the Baptist located at Ostrow Tumski, the oldest area of the city. Walk along the Odra Riverbank till you reach the 'Polish Hill' where you will witness a spectacular view of the city. Afterwards, enter the Panorama of the Battle of Raclawice Museum and marvel at the 360 degree painting of this battle that has been carefully preserved since the 19th century. Continue through the medieval streets till your reach the large Market Square, where you will surround yourself in vintage structures and stand in front of the gothic Town Hall in the centre.
