Begin in Budapest, where the grandeur of the Danube River and iconic landmarks will enchant you, continuing to Salzburg, where the magic of ‘The Sound of Music’ comes to life. Explore Ljubljana, a hidden gem with its stunning caves, before concluding in Zagreb, where cobblestone streets and Gothic cathedrals offer a taste of Croatian charm. Each city is a unique chapter in this unforgettable journey, blending history, art, and modern flair into a seamless travel experience.
Day 1 Budapest
Welcome to Budapest! Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure so you can either relax or begin exploring this illustrious capital, bisected by the Danube River, on your own.

Day 2 Budapest
This morning, embark on a comprehensive city tour of Budapest, where you will see all the highlights in both the Buda and Pest side of the city. Pass by the imposing House of Parliament then cross the Danube on the Margaret Bridge to the Royal Castle on the Buda side, where you will visit Fishermen's Bastion and Matthias Church. Continue to Gellert Hill and the Citadel for amazing views of the city before crossing the Danube via Elizabeth Bridge to the Pest side. Drive to Heroes' Square on Andrassy Avenue, then past the beautiful Opera House and magnificent St. Stephen's Basilica before ending your tour with a 1-hour cruise along the Danube.
The afternoon is at leisure to explore this exciting city on your own.

Day 3 Budapest – Bratislava
Following breakfast and check-out from your hotel, transfer to the bus station and travel via coach to Bratislava. After arriving at Bratislava bus station, meet your driver for your transfer to your hotel and check in.
This afternoon, take a private walking tour of the city and see the city's Main Square with its Old Town Hall, medieval Michael's Gate and Tower, Primate's Palace, Slovak National Theatre (Opera Building) and renovated palaces of the many noble families. After making your way through the Old Town, take a walk along the Danube River to the Old Bridge and enjoy splendid views of some of the city’s landmarks.

Day 4 Bratislava – Salzburg
This morning, meet your driver in the hotel lobby for a transfer to Vienna railway station to board a train to Salzburg (approximately 3hrs). After arriving in Salzburg railway station, make your own way to your hotel for check in. The balance of the day will be at leisure to relax or spend exploring the town at your own pace.

DAY 5 Salzburg
Tour the picturesque World Heritage City of Salzburg as well as the beautiful landscapes where the opening scenes of the movie ‘The Sound of Music’ were filmed on this half day coach tour with a live guide. The Sound of Music Tour Salzburg includes original shooting locations from the movie including the Mirabell Garden and Pegasus Fountain, where Maria and the children had a dance scene, Schloss Leopoldskron (view from opposite of the lake) the house where the von Trapp Family lived in the movie (now a luxury hotel), and many more. Overnight in Salzburg.

Day 6 Salzburg – Ljubljana
After breakfast at your hotel, check out and meet your driver in hotel lobby for your transfer to the bus station to take a coach to Ljubljana (approximately. 4hrs). On arrival in Ljubljana railway station, meet your driver and transfer to the hotel for check in. The remainder of your day is at leisure to explore the city at your own pace.

Day 7 Ljubljana
Today, embark on a trip to Postojna Caves, one of the most beautiful caves in the world, created by nature over millions of years. The Caves consist of 20 km of wondrously sculpted galleries, chambers and halls into which the guides over the last 180 years have taken some 28 million visitors. Start your tour into this underground world by mini-cave train and admire the caves monumental beauty before a guided walk to most the breathtaking parts of the cave system.
A few kilometres from the Postojna Cave stands one of the most picturesque buildings in the whole of Slovenia. Predjama Castle hangs dramatically in the middle of a 123 metre high cliff. The Castle was the stronghold of the robber baron Erazem Predjamski, the subject of numerous legends. You will be guided through the castle and enjoy in listening to its legends as well.
After, return to Ljubljana, and enjoy an evening in leisure.

Day 8 Ljubljana – Zagreb
After breakfast and check out from your hotel, meet your driver in the hotel lobby and transfer to the bus station for your coach transfer to Zagreb (approximately 2.5 hours). On arrival into Zagreb, transfer to your hotel and check in. The remainder of your day is at leisure to start exploring Zagreb at your own pace.

Day 9 Zagreb
Following breakfast, meet your guide for a private walking tour. Explore Upper Town, home to the Gothic, twin-spired Zagreb Cathedral, and 13th-century St. Mark’s Church with its colourfully tiled roof. Visit the pedestrian-friendly Tkalciceva Street, lined with outdoor cafes then venture into Lower Town to see the main square, Ban Jelacic, plus shops, museums and parks. The rest of the evening will be at leisure for you to continue exploring Zagreb.

Day 10 Zagreb
After breakfast at your hotel, meet your driver in the hotel lobby for a transfer to Zagreb Airport for your onward journey.
