DAY 1 Berlin
Welcome to Berlin! Your tour commences with an optional transfer to your hotel where the rest of the day is at leisure. You may wish to begin exploring Berlin, the capital and largest city of Germany, renowned for its amazing landmarks, abundance of green spaces, thriving cultural scene, eclectic lifestyles and delicious culinary offerings. At night, why not relax like the locals at a beer garden or go on a lovely dinner cruise and see some of the best sights?

DAY 2 Berlin
Discover the heart of Berlin on a sightseeing tour with the bustling Kurfurstendamm (main boulevard), the majestic Siegessaule (Victory Column), the impressive Kanzleramt (Chancellery), the historic Reichstag building and the iconic Brandenburg Gate before taking a stroll down the grand boulevard of Unter den Linden in the Mitte district of Berlin. The afternoon is free to explore Berlin some more at your own pace.

DAY 3 Berlin - Dresden
Depart for Dresden, known as the 'Jewel Box' due to its rich cultural heritage, Baroque and Rococo architecture and abundance of art treasures. Embark on a captivating walking tour, beginning at the historic Neumarkt Square. Marvel at the spectacular Frauenkirche church, see the renowned Semper Opera and the magnificent Zwinger Palace, before enjoying scenic views from Bruhl Terrace and finishing with stroll acrossing the iconic Augustus Bridge.

DAY 4 Dresden - Wroclaw
Your journey continues to Wroclaw in Poland where you will tour Ostrow Tumski, known as Cathedral Island, the historic heart of the city dating from the 10th century. Admire the architectural splendour of the Centennial Hall, a UNESCO world Heritage Site, and wander through the vibrant Old Market Square, the lively centre of the Old Town. Visit the towering St. Elizabeth's Church and its stunning interiors, and end your time at the elegant medieval Gothic City Hall.

DAY 5 Wroclaw - Krakow
This morning, head to the Museum of Wroclaw University with its resplendent Baroque Hall of Aula Lepoldina, Oratorium Marianum and the Mathematical Tower. In the afternoon, depart for Krakow, the second largest and one of the oldest cities in Poland, known for its well-preserved medieval core and Jewish quarter. On arrival, check into your hotel and the remainder of the day is yours to get a feel for the city and try local fares such as pierogi or zapiekanka.

DAY 6 Krakow
For half a millennium, Krakow was the royal capital of Poland and its city walls have guarded its traditions and secrets. The day commences with a walking tour of the Old Town to see St. Mary’s Church, Jagiellonian University, and Cloth Halls, with an included visit to Wawel Castle and Cathedral. This afternoon join an optional excursion to the famous Wieliczka Salt Mines, an amazing labyrinth of underground tunnels going down as far as 327 meters.

DAY 7 Krakow - Warsaw
Enjoy a free morning in Krakow or sign up for an optional tour to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial Museum, situated on the site of the Nazi German Auschwitz concentration camp. It has been preserved as a research centre and in memory of the 1.1 million people who died there, including 960,000 Jews, during World War II and the Holocaust. Then, be taken to the railway station for your high-speed train to Warsaw and when you arrive, transfer to your hotel.

DAY 8 Warsaw
Warsaw is essentially a post-war city with a unique blend of past and present. A sightseeing tour takes you along the Royal Route into the Old Town past the grandiose Royal Castle, St. John's Cathedral, the busy Market Square and the impressive Barbican. Afterwards, you may wish to join an optional excursion to Royal Lazienki Park and its 'Palace on the Water' and in the evening, indulge in an optional Polish dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 9 Warsaw - Bialystok
After breakfast, travel through the well-forested Eastern Poland to Podlasie region and Bialowieza. The forest there represents the ancient forest that once covered all Europe. Visit Bialowieza National Park and its famous European Bison Show Reserve. Following a light stroll along the nature trails of the forest, proceed to your hotel in Bialystok and check in. This afternoon, see this multicultural Polish city and its most notable landmark Branicki Palace.

DAY 10 Bialystok - Vilnius
Cross the border into Lithuania today, passing attractive resort towns along the way. Make a brief stop in Kaunas, the former capital of Lithuania, to admire its beautiful Old Town and elegant baroque Town Hall. Arrive in Vilnius in the late afternoon and settle into your hotel where the remainder of the day is free to unwind or wander around this enchanting city.

DAY 11 Vilnius
Today explore Vilnius, the current capital of and the largest city of Lithuania, as well as the second-most populous city in the Baltic States. Known for having over 1,200 medieval buildings and 48 churches, Vilnius will delight with its maze of baroque-inspired architecture, cobblestone streets and historic monuments. A morning tour will showcase the city's Old Town with its Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, Old University, 16th century Gates of the Dawn and visits Peter and Paul Church. Subsequently, join an optional excursion to Trakai, the medieval capital of Lithuania, for a tour of the well-preserved Trakai Castle. This evening, feast on an optional traditional Lithuanian dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 12 Vilnius - Riga
Head into Riga today stopping at the Hill of Crosses, one of Lithuania’s most holy relics enroute. Then cross into Latvia and reach the magnificent Rundale Palace, built by Rastrelli as the former summer residence of the Duke of Courland. After a guided tour of the complex, continue through the rolling hills of southern Latvia to Riga, the country’s capital set on the Baltic Sea at the mouth of Daugava River. The remainder of the day will be at your leisure.

DAY 13 Riga
Founded in 1201, Riga is a true kaleidoscope of architectural styles. Tour the city on foot beginning with the Art Nouveaux district and the Old Town to see Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, the Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, Freedom Monument and so on. In the afternoon, consider an optional visit to Jurmala, famous for its wooden architecture and beaches, while the evening is great for an optional organ concert at the Dome Cathedral.

DAY 14 Riga
Spend the day exploring Riga some more on your own, or discover medieval Latvia by joining an optional tour to Gauja National Park and the town of Sigulda. The afternoon is saved for an optional visit to Ethnographical Open-Air Museum near Lake Jugla, a spacious exposition of 18th century country life.

DAY 15 Riga - Tallinn
Drive along the coastal highway to the resort town of Parnu, Estonia's most popular summer holiday destination since the 19th century. Enjoy a short tour of this now beach paradise before travelling through the forests of northern Estonia to Tallinn. DAY 16 Tallinn
With a captivating history, culture and undeniable charm, Tallin is truly a hidden gem in Europe. Explore the walled city of Tallinn’s medieval Old Town on a morning tour, seeing Toompea Castle, Dome Cathedral and the Old Town Hall, as well as entering the medieval Great Guild HalI. In the afternoon, we recommend an optional excursion to Kadriorg Park with its baroque palace and KUMU, a new award-winning Estonian art museum with its collections of classic and contemporary fine art.
