DAY 1 Dubrovnik
Welcome to Dubrovnik, the Pearl of the Adriatic! Your Venice Express cruise tour commences with an arrival transfer to the port, where embarkation begins at 18:00. If you arrive prior to this, you may explore this enchanting city on your own or simply relax before boarding the cruise. Once onboard, settle into your cabin and unwind for the night.

DAY 2 Cruise: Dubrovnik - Mljet
In the morning, cruise further north to the Island of Mljet. Mljet National Park encompasses five types of forest, many species of birds and two deep lakes, Veliko Jezero (Big Lake) and Malo Jezero (Small Lake). Join the Cruise Manager for a stroll to the famous salt lakes in the Mljet National Park. Alternatively, you can rent bicycles, scooters, or kayaks to explore the National Park or island on your own. In the evening, enjoy Captain's dinner on board.

DAY 3 Cruise: Mljet - Hvar
Enjoy a swim stop in the morning then continue cruising whilst lunch is served on board. Arrive into the charming seaside town of Hvar in the afternoon. With eight centuries of architecture and history, Hvar is a favourite holiday destination for those who visit Dalmatia. On a walking tour, visit significant historical sites such as St. Stephen's Square and Cathedral, and the Hvar Arsenal with the theatre built on its first floor (the first municipal theatre in Europe). Above the town is the impressive fortress Fortica offering magnificent views over the bay and Pakleni islands. This evening in Hvar is at your leisure, so take in more of the Old Town at your own pace and perhaps dine in one of the bustling local restaurants.

DAY 4 Cruise: Hvar - Split
Enjoy another opportunity for a swim (if weather permits), followed by lunch on board. In the late afternoon, arrive at your final port of call - Split. Upon arrival, commence a walking tour of the historic inner city including the Palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. See the remnants of Split's Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. Your evening is free to explore Split further.

DAY 5 Split - Plitvice Lakes - Opatija
After breakfast, it's time to disembark and bid the crew farewell. Journey north by motorcoach to visit Plitvice Lakes National Park, another UNESCO World Heritage site, and walk around several of the lower lakes. The Park is a natural wonder with 16 terraced lakes surrounded by turquoise waters and lush vegetation. Afterwards, drive on to Opatija where dinner will be served at your hotel.

DAY 6 Opatija - Postojna - Venice
Cross the border and head into Slovenia and visit the unique and beautiful Postojna Cave, one of the largest cave systems in Europe. Tour this wondrous subterranean world by miniature electric train, then after, continue your journey to Venice. Tonight, gather for a Welcome Dinner with your Tour Manager and traveling companions.

DAY 7 Venice
Discover Venice with a boat ride to Murano Island, famous for its artistic glassware. Visit a glassblowing factory, where you will watch a demonstration of traditional Venetian glassblowing by master craftsmen. Later, make your way to St. Mark's Square for a walking tour to see St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace, and enjoy views of the Bell Tower and Bridge of Sighs. The remainder of the day is for you to soak up Venice on your own - you can shop, join a gondola ride or simply sit at a cafe and watch the world go by!

DAY 8 Venice
Farewell your Tour Manager and fellow travellers as your Venice Express cruise tour concludes today after breakfast. Resume your onward journey.
