DAY 1 Split
Arrive into Split airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy some free time during the day then in the evening meet your Tour Manager and fellow travellers for a Welcome Dinner.

DAY 2 Split
Split has evolved from the ruins of the remarkable Diocletian’s Palace, the retirement home of Dalmatian born Emperor Diocletian, to the contemporary hub it is today. Enjoy a sightseeing tour this morning of the historic inner city where you can witness the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage seamlessly juxtaposed against modern development. Visit the Peristyle, Jupiter’s temple and the Cathedral before having the remainder of the afternoon free to stroll through the beautiful cobblestone streets of Old Town, visit the local beach, or join an Optional Excursion to Hvar Island.

DAY 3 Split - Plitvice lakes
Following your breakfast you will head to Trogir, a melting pot for artistic activities. Onwards from there, carry on to the magnificent Plitvice lakes. Take a tour around the lower lakes, soaking in all the scenery and beauty in one of Croatia's most famous national parks, made up of 16 terraced lakes surrounded by mountains and forest.

DAY 4 Plitvice lakes - Opatija - Postojna - Bled
Today you journey along the bay pf Kvarner to the coastal town of Opatija where you will have free time to explore. After this, you will carry on to the cave network of Postojna. Inside, you will tour this subterranean world by electric train, and marvel at one of Europe's largest caves with its unique nature. You will then continue to the Julian Alps and lake Bled, where you will spend the night.

DAY 5 Bled
Surrounded by high peaks, Lake Bled is picture perfect. Since the middle of 19th century, a small town of beautiful hotels, villas and restaurants has developed around the lake, turning Bled into a lively resort. Today's tour will feature the charming town and lakeshore and a chance to see Bled Castle. After your tour, you will have the rest of the day at leisure. Perhaps, join an optional excursion visiting the small island in the middle of the lake or simply just relax and enjoy the scenery of this enchanting place.

DAY 6 Bled - Ljubljana - Zagreb
Leave the mountains behind you and head towards the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana. See the most significant sights of the old city centre on a walking tour. Highlights include the picturesque open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall, and Robba's Fountain. Continue to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia

DAY 7 Zagreb
This morning, your sightseeing tour will take you through the historic Upper Town. See St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, Parliament, and the Government Palace. The rest of the day is yours to explore the winding streets of the old town at your own pace or perhaps take an optional excursion into the countryside.
*Note: Zagreb Cathedral is closed for renovations and is expected to open for inside visits in 2025 (at own expense) but no official open date is set.

DAY 8 Zagreb
After breakfast, say farewell to your fellow passengers and Tour Manager. A departure transfer will take you to the Airport for your onward journey.
