DAY 1 Zagreb
Arrive at Zagreb airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to spend discovering this wonderful city. In the evening, join your fellow travellers for a Welcome Dinner.

DAY 2 Zagreb
Discover the historic Upper Town as you embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Zagreb this morning. See some famous sites like the 13th-century St. Marks Church with its colourful tiled roof, St. Catherine’s Church, The Cathedral, Parliament and Government Palace as part of your tour. The rest of the day is yours to explore the winding streets of the old town at your own pace or perhaps take an Optional Excursion into the countryside.
*Note: Zagreb Cathedral is closed for renovations in 2024 and is expected to open for inside visits in 2025 (at own expense) but no official open date is set.

DAY 3 Zagreb – Ljubljana – Bled
This morning, head to the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana. A walking city tour will take you to the highlights of the old city centre, including the lively open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall and Robba’s Fountain – a baroque monument modelled after classic Roman fountains. Afterwards, continue your journey towards the Julian Alps and arrive in the picturesque town of Bled where you will overnight.

DAY 4 Bled
Located in the foothills of the Julian Alps, Bled is set along an alpine lake surrounded by dramatic high peaks and a picture-perfect setting. The exquisite location has turned the area into a popular resort town with a smattering of hotels, villas and restaurants, giving it a lively atmosphere and making it a year-round destination. A sightseeing tour will take you around this charming lakeside town and includes a visit to the imposing Bled Castle, perched high atop a cliff above the lake. The rest of the day will be at leisure. You may opt to join an optional excursion visiting the small island in the middle of the lake, browse through the shops and boutiques, or simply relax and enjoy the enchanting scenery.

DAY 5 Bled – Postojna – Opatija – Plitvice Lakes
Your adventure continues to Postojna, home to one of the largest caves in Europe. You’ll have the opportunity to tour this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train for a truly one-of-a-kind experience! Return to the coast and travel along the beautiful bay of Kvarner to the popular resort town of Opatija. Dotted with Austro-Hungarian Habsburg period villas, Opatija still retains its glamour and charm from a bygone era. After enjoying a walking tour of this town, travel to the spectacular Plitvice Lakes.

DAY 6 Plitvice Lakes – Split
This morning, take a relaxing walking tour of the 16 breathtaking, turquoise lakes and cascading waterfalls surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. The forest in the national park is home to various flora and fauna including bears, lynx, wild boars and wolves. Continue with your journey towards Split, one of Croatia’s major coastal cities.

DAY 7 Split
Split has evolved from the ruins of the remarkable Diocletian’s Palace, the retirement home of Dalmatian born Emperor Diocletian, to the contemporary hub it is today. Enjoy a sightseeing tour this morning of the historic inner city where you can witness the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage seamlessly juxtaposed against modern development. Visit the Peristyle, Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral before having the remainder of the afternoon free to stroll through the beautiful cobblestone streets of Old Town or visit the local beach.

DAY 8 Split – Dubrovnik
Today, depart Split for another city in Croatia, Dubrovnik - the indisputable Pearl of the Adriatic with an Old Town centre that is entirely listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is also one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Mediterranean. On your arrival, take the opportunity to explore the remains of this ancient city.

DAY 9 Dubrovnik
After breakfast, embark on a guided city tour where your guide will show you around this fascinating world-known landmark, an ancient town protected by 13th century fortifications. See the Rector’s Palace, the Bell Tower Clock, Orlando’s Column, Sponza Palace, the Dominican Monastery, and Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy, one of the oldest in the world.

DAY 10 Dubrovnik – Tivat
Continue with your journey to Montenegro, a country located in the west-central Balkans at the southern end of the Dinaric Alps. Along the way, enjoy the view of rugged mountains and the Bay of Kotor, the only South European fjord. Upon arrival, join a tour of Kotor's Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979. Afterwards, drive towards Tivat where you will stay.

DAY 11Montenegro
Your exploration continues with a scenic drive along the Lovcen Serpentine to the heart of Montenegro with a panoramic view of Kotor Bay from the height of over 3,000 feet above sea level. Continue to the former royal capital of Montenegro, Cetinje. There, you'll visit the museum of the King Nikola and Cetinje monastery with two precious relics of “hand of St. John Baptist” and “fragment of the holy cross”. Leaving Cetinje, on the way back to the hotel, enjoy a colourful sea-side scenery of the Montenegro coast.

DAY 12 Tivat – Tirana
After breakfast, leave Tivat and drive via Budva and Bar towards the town of Shkodra, nowadays a major Albanian cultural centre. Shkodra was the centre of the Illyrian tribe Labeat and was taken by the Romans in the year 168 B.C. During your visit, see the Rozafa Castle, magnificently situated on a rocky outcrop of limestone high above the city. Continue to Tirana where you will stay.

DAY 13 Tirana
Start your day with a morning sightseeing tour. With your guide, see Sheshi Skenderbej or also known as Skanderbeg Square, the Mosque of Ethem Bey, the Clock Tower, and the statue of G.K. Skanderbeg - Albania’s national hero, the Palace of Culture - built with Soviet assistance, and the National History Museum with a mosaic on its facade portraying Albania's history. Your afternoon is free to continue exploring on your own, shop, or simply just relax.

DAY 14 Tirana
It’s time to say farewell to your fellow passengers and Tour Manager today. Your tour concludes after breakfast with a departure transfer to the Airport for your onward journey.
