DAY 1 Venice - Opatija
Today you will be transferred to Opatija on the Croatian Riviera. Pick up will be available from Tronchetto Bus Station or Venice airports (Marco Polo or Treviso). Overnight in Opatija. B

DAY 2 Opatija
Embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Opatija, a lovely coastal town on Kvarner Bay that was once a summer and winter resort of the wealthy and elite of the 19th century. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Perhaps take in the incredible Austro-Hungarian architecture as you stroll along the Lungomare, Opatija's seaside promenade. The town's idyllic setting will provide an elegant backdrop for an evening of relaxation. B

DAY 3 Opatija - Plitvice Lakes - Split
Depart this morning for spectacular Plitvice National Park, which consists of 16 lakes inter-connected with hundreds of stunning waterfalls. Join a guided sightseeing tour of this UNESCO listed National Park - the oldest in Croatia. You will have time to enjoy a boat ride on the emerald green Kozjak Lake and take a stroll on the wooden paths and nature trails surrounded by lush greenery. Continue to Split hotel for overnight. B

DAY 4 CRUISE: Split
Begin your morning with a guided city tour of Split, the biggest city in Dalmatia with rich cultural heritage and historical values dating from the Roman times. At the core of this sprawling cityscape is the palace the Emperor Diocletian built for his golden years at the turn of the 4th century. To this day the Palace remains one of the best-preserved monuments of the Roman architecture in the world. Take a walk along Riva - the main waterfront promenade, often called the city’s “living-room”. This vivid pedestrian area offers numerous bars and restaurants where the locals gather to discuss their everyday lives over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. At the conclusion of your sightseeing tour of Split, board your cruise and get settled into your cabin. Enjoy a welcome reception and cocktail in the evening and get to meet your crew and fellow travellers on board. D
DAY 5 CRUISE: Split - Brac - Hvar
Leave Split behind and head for the island of Brac to swim at the famous beach, Zlatni Rat near Bol. Continue to Hvar with lunch on board at the Pakleni Islands, the longest island in the Adriatic, known for its natural beauty and lavender. Join a tour of the town’s historical landmarks, with the evening free for you to enjoy the numerous restaurants that line the port. BL
DAY 6 CRUISE: Hvar - Bisevo - Vis
An early cruise brings you to Bisevo and its famous Blue Cave, a magnificent natural wonder. Continue to Vis which has a special charm as it is relatively unspoiled by tourism and your overnight here gives you time to try some of the islands’ wines or visit some of its Roman ruins. BL

DAY 7 CRUISE: Vis - Korcula
Enjoy a refreshing swim stop before making your way to the island of Korcula. On arrival, commence a guided walking tour of this enchanting town that showcases one of the best preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean. This evening there is an abundant choice of restaurants where you may enjoy dinner by your own or join an optional excursion to a small village near Korcula for a typical Dalmatian dinner where you will find out more about the history and traditional way of living. DAY 8 CRUISE: Korcula - Mljet
Cruise south today to the island of Mljet, where Greek legend says Odysseus spent years after his capture by Calypso. Join your cruise manager for a stroll to the islands’ salt lakes in the Mljet National Park and enjoy a boat ride to the Benedictine Monastery on St Mary Islet. Overnight in either Polaca or Pomena. DAY 9 CRUISE: Mljet - Slano
The town of Ston, reached via the village of Slano on the mainland, is well known for its well preserved walls, salt works and oysters! Today, experience the marvels of all 3 on an exciting tour of this little settlement on the Peljesac Peninsula. The walls, longer than those in Dubrovnik, were built to protect the salt pans in the area and impressively hug the mountainous landscape. Today, salt is still an important commodity to this region and the harvesting process is still completed in the traditional manner. After visiting the towns ramparts, continue to Mali Ston to learn about the oysters in the area and enjoy a special tasting of this delicacy. This evening is reserved for the Captain’s dinner with live entertainment. BLD
DAY 10 CRUISE: Slano - Dubrovnik
An early morning departure will take you towards Dubrovnik where you will get to see the special charm of this historic city. Be greeted by Old Town buildings and fortifications which date back from the time of the Dubrovnik Republic. Cruise along the city walls whilst lunch is served and then take a guided walking tour of this magical place. The remainder of the evening will be at your leisure to further explore at your own pace. DAY 11 CRUISE: Dubrovnik
Your cruise concludes on arrival in Dubrovnik with a departure transfer for your onward journey. B
