Day 1 Prague
Arrive at the magical city of Prague where you will be transferred to your hotel. This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and folklore performance at a local restaurant. (D)

Majestic Plaza Hotel (4 star)

Day 2 Prague
A guided tour of St. Vitus Cathedral, resting place of the Czech kings, and the Royal Castle of Hradcany dominating Prague’s beautiful skyline is on the agenda for today. Afterwards you have free time to meander this fascinating city. Your afternoon is at leisure until an evening performance at the opera. (B)

Day 3 Prague
Spend the morning touring the cobblestone streets and hidden alleyways of Prague’s picturesque Old Town, taking in the lively town square and its famous Astronomical Clock. Visit many of the city’s architectural landmarks including those within the Jewish Quarter, St. Nicholas Church and the enchanting Charles Bridge. Afterwards you have free time to meander this fascinating city. (B)

Day 4 Prague - Vienna
Travel south to Vienna, the capital of Austria. This evening’s dinner will be at a Heurigen restaurant, a traditional wine tavern where you will sample some local wines. (B, D)

Day 5 Vienna
Explore the “City of Waltzes” on a guided tour featuring major sights as the majestic Hofburg, seat of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Belvedere Palace, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and other vivid reminders of Vienna’s imperial past. In the evening, delight in a Strauss and Mozart concert. (B)

Day 6 Vienna
Today, visit the famous Kunsthistorische Museum with its impressive exhibitions of 16th and 17th century art, a collection that reflects the artistic preferences of the imperial Hapsburg rulers. (B)

Day 7 Vienna - Budapest
Depart Vienna and travel to Budapest, “Paris of the East.” After checking in to your hotel, the afternoon will be free to familiarise yourself with this vibrant city. (B)

Day 8 Budapest
Admire many of the city’s famous sights on a morning tour of Budapest, two former villages linked by nine elegant bridges. The city is a masterpiece of beautiful architecture including the riverside Parliament. Other sights include Vaci Utca, Budapest’s best known street, and Heroes’ Square with its Millennium Memorial. (B)

Day 9 Budapest
Your last morning involves a sightseeing tour of the Castle Hill area, a limestone plateau 170m above the Danube, which boasts Fisherman’s Bastion, Royal Palace and 13th century Matthias Church. Spend a last afternoon at leisure before an evening dinner in a traditional csarda restaurant with delicious local food and gypsy music. (B, D)

Day 10 Budapest
Your Prague, Vienna & Budapest tour concludes after breakfast with a departure airport transfer. (B)
