Day 1 St. Petersburg
Arrive in St. Petersburg with an optional transfer to your hotel. Tonight, join your fellow travellers and Tour Manager at a welcome meeting.

Day 2 St. Petersburg
This morning on your sightseeing tour you will become acquainted with the city’s foundations at Peter and Paul Fortress, the Winter Palace, Church of the Bleeding Savior St. Isaac’s Cathedral, Alexander Nevsky Convent and much more. This afternoon offers an optional tour to Zarskoye Selo with the impressive Catherine's Palace and the Amber Room, which vanished during WWII and was restored for St. Petersburg's tri-centennial celebrations. In the evening, join an optional visit to Nikolaevsky Palace for an entertaining folklore show. B

Day 3 St. Petersburg
This morning’s optional excursion to Peterhof, an uncontested masterpiece of the time of Peter the Great with the impressive Grand Palace, Grand Cascade and Water Avenue and its wonderful parks. In the afternoon an optional visit to the world famous Hermitage Art Museum is offered. In the evening, enjoy an optional dinner at a traditional Russian restaurant. B

Day 4 St. Petersburg - Moscow
This morning is reserved for an optional St. Petersburg channel cruise, before boarding the Sapsan train to Moscow. Travel through endless Russian landscapes along the River Volga. Arrive in Moscow In the late afternoon. B

Day 5 Moscow
On your morning sightseeing tour of the Russian capital, you will see Red Square, St. Basil’s Cathedral, the Bolshoi Theatre and the Sparrow Hills with Moscow University. You will also visit the Kremlin grounds and one of the cathedrals. In the afternoon take an optional tour of the Moscow Metro including the historical stations on the Ring-Line and a guided stroll on the famous pedestrian Arbat street. In the evening take an optional tour by cruise on the Moscow River. B

Day 6 Moscow
Take an optional day excursion to the quaint town of Sergiev Posad, visit the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius, the most important Russian monastery and the spiritual heart of the Russian Orthodox Church. B

Day 7 Moscow
Your Russian Capitals tour concludes after breakfast with an optional departure transfer. B
