Day 1 Tallinn
Arrive in Tallinn with optional transfer to your hotel. Tonight join your fellow travellers and Tour Director at a welcome meeting.

Day 2 Tallinn - Cesis
Depart Tallinn and head south via Lahemaa National Park to visit the Manor Houses in Palmse and Vihula. Continue to Tartu for a brief tour of the charming Old Town. Cross the border into Latvia and travel to Cesis, a quaint Hanseatic city known for its winding streets, historic castle ruins and lavish gardens. B

Day 3 Cesis - Vilnius
Today, drive through Gauja National Park and admire its picturesque landscapes, medieval castle ruins and unique sculpture parks. En route to Lithuania, visit the magnificent Rundale Palace, built by Rastrelli as the summer residence of the Duke of Courland. Arrive Vilnius late in the afternoon. B

Day 4 Vilnius - Klaipeda
Lithuania’s lovely capital is famous for having more than 1,200 medieval buildings and 48 churches. Your morning sightseeing includes a panoramic walking tour of the Old Town and renowned sights such as St. Stanislav’s Cathedral, Gediminas Castle, the Gothic St. Anna’s Church and “Gates of the Dawn.” After an opportunity for lunch, continue to Trakai for a visit to its well-preserved castle situated on an island in Lake Galve. Arrive in Klaipeda late afternoon and check-in at your hotel. B

Day 5 Klaipeda
Today, enjoy a free day for your own activities or join the full-day optional excursion to the Curonian Spit, a narrow peninsula 100km long between the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Lagoon which is home to quaint fishing villages, huge pine forests and endless sand dunes. After visiting the resort of Nida, return to Klaipeda. This evening, enjoy an optional Lithuanian dinner at a local restaurant. B

Day 6 Klaipeda - Riga
This morning’s sightseeing tour of Klaipeda takes you on a walk through the Old Town with its narrow, cobblestone streets and old guild houses. Continuing north, visit picturesque Lake Platelli and pass the Hill of Crosses before reaching Riga in the late afternoon. In the evening, an optional organ concert in the Dome Cathedral is available. B

Day 7 Riga
Founded in 1201, Riga is the largest of the three Baltic capitals and boasts a true kaleidoscope of architectural styles. Your walking tour of the Old Town includes Riga Castle and Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, the Powder Tower and Freedom Monument. In the afternoon there is an optional visit to Jurmala, famous for its wooden architecture and sandy beaches. This evening, enjoy an optional Latvian dinner at a local restaurant. B

Day 8 Riga - Tallinn
Continue along the coastal highway to the Estonian resort town of Pärnu. Enjoy a short tour before heading into the dense forests as you travel through northern Estonia to Tallinn. B

Day 9 Tallinn
Tallinn is a charming blend of medieval tranquillity and modern urban life. The quaint Old Town is explored on a walking tour where you will see Toompea Castle, Dome Cathedral, Alexander Nevsky Church and Old Town Hall. In the afternoon, you may join an optional visit to Kadriorg Park with its baroque palace built for Peter the Great. Your final evening offers an optional medieval dinner. B

Day 10 Tallinn
Your Baltic Impressions tour concludes after breakfast with an optional departure transfer. B
