Day 1 Frankfurt
Welcome to Germany! Arrive in Frankfurt and meet your driver for a transfer to your hotel. This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and meet your fellow travellers and Tour Director. (D)

Day 2 Frankfurt - Heidelberg – Black Forest (Breitnau)
Your journey towards the Black Forest begins with a visit to Heidelberg, often considered Germany's most beautiful city. You will visit the famous Heidelberg Castle, followed by a tour of the historic Old Town. Afterwards continue to the heart of the Black Forest, where you will experience an authentic dinner and overnight in a classic Black Forest-style lodge. You may wish to take an easy walk to the beautiful Ravenna Gorge or see the region’s oldest chapel. (B, D)

Day 3 Black Forest - Lake Titisee - Lindau - Füssen
Your first stop this morning is the cuckoo clock visitor centre to learn more about the traditional clocks. Follow on with a visit to a traditional small farm where you may sample delicious local cheeses and see what life is like in the Black Forest. Your last stop today will be the beautiful Lake Titisee for a stroll before travelling to the small island of Lindau in Lake Constance, which boasts spectacular views of the Alps. Depending on weather conditions you will take the Alpine road from Lindau to Oberstaufen and Immenstadt to Füssen. (B)

Day 4 Neuschwanstein – Wieskirche - Oberammergau – Linderhof - Innsbruck
Begin the day with a visit to the fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Ludwig II, the notorious “Mad King“. Afterwards travel to the village of Oberammergau, famous for its Passion Play and lovely crafts. Followed by a visit to Wieskirche Church before continuing to visit Linderhof Castle, one of the 3 castles built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and the only one where the king actually lived for a significant amount of time. After a brief stop at the Ettal Benedictine Abbey you will arrive in Innsbruck, capital of the Austrian Alps. (B)

Day 5 Innsbruck - Munich
Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Innsbruck, the scenic city nestled in the heart of the Alps. This afternoon you return to Germany and the Bavarian capital of Munich. (B)

Day 6 Munich
Discover the city’s main attractions on a morning sightseeing tour, including the famous clock tower, Hofbrauhaus, National Theatre and Marienplatz. The remainder of your day is at leisure for further exploration until this evenings traditional Bavarian dinner. (B, D)

Day 7 Munich - Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Frankfurt
Morning departure to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Romantic Germany. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of this medieval town concluding with a Schneeballen (snow ball) tasting, a pastry considered the signature dish of Rothenburg. Afterwards you will return to Frankfurt airport where your tour concludes in the early evening (approx 18.00hrs).
