Day 1 Moscow
On arrival in Moscow, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, the rest of the day is free before meeting your Tour Director and fellow travellers at a welcome dinner. (D)

Day 2 Moscow
Moscow is the symbolic heart and soul of the Russian Federation. Your comprehensive sightseeing begins at Red Square, dominated by St. Basil’s Cathedral and the red walls of the Kremlin. After a tour of the Kremlin grounds, visit the famous Armoury Museum, the treasury of the Russian czars with its collection of Russian arms, carriages and coronation dresses from the 16-19th centuries. Continue on the north bank of the River Moskva, passing by baroque Novodevichy convent; ending the tour at the popular Arbat shopping district, time to shop or enjoy lunch on your own. The rest of the day is at leisure (B)

Day 3 Moscow
Today you travel 75 kms north of Moscow, to a small town of Sergiev Posad, former Zagorsk. For centuries it served as al place of pilgrimage and the religious capital of Russia. Within the old walled city admire the fairy-tale golden and blue domes of the Holy Trinity St. Sergius Lavra, one of the most beautiful of all monasteries. After lunch at a popular restaurant, return to Moscow, the rest of the day at leisure. This evening take an optional tour Moscow by night & Subway, to see the metro stations which Stallin called "Palaces for the People". (B, L)

Day 4 Moscow - St. Petersburg
Time at leisure in Moscow, before transfer to railway station for a four hours high speed Sapsan train ride to St. Petersburg. Upon arrival at the St Peterburg train station, transfer to your hotel for dinner. (B, D)

Day 5 St. Petersburg
There are not many cities in the world that can match the grace of St. Petersburg. Spread over 100 islands linked by over 600 bridges, this imperial city is often referred to as the “Venice of the North.” Today the main sites to be visited on the tour are Palace Square with the Winter Palace, Senate Square with the monument to Russian Emperor Peter the Great, the founder of the city; St. Isaac's Square with St. Isaac's Cathedral, Smolny Cathedral, Cruiser Aurora, Field of Mars and Nevsky Prospect. Granite embankments of the Neva River. Visit to Peter and Paul Fortress, built in 1703 on a small island, it was meant to protect the city from enemy attacks; and the first construction of St. Petersburg. Visit Paul and Peter Cathedral, which towers in the center of the fortress served as the burial place for Russian Emperors from Peter I. It is a museum nowadays. The gilded spire of the Peter and Paul Cathedral is the highest landmark of the city. Evening is at leisure or join and optional Russian Folklore evening or Evening Canal Cruise. (B)

Day 6 St. Petersburg
This morning you will have a guided tour of the renowned Hermitage Museum to discover its immense collection of European art. It ranks among one of the largest and oldest museums of the world, founded in 1764 by Catherine the Great. Admire the worldfamous masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci, Rafael, Titian, Rembrandt, El Greco, Velasquez, Rubens, Van Dyck, Goya, and French Impressionists. The Hermitage occupies five buildings, the largest is the Winter Palace, the former residence of Russian Emperors.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring the city on your own or perhaps you may choose to take an optional tour to visit Catherine Palace & Park in Pushkin or to Petrodvorets, Peterhof Summer Palace of Peter the Great. (B, D)

Day 7 Tallinn
Today's journey will take you to Estonia, where your first stop is Narva, set just across the border with Russia. Continue to Tallinn, Estonia’s capital, situated on the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland. (B, D)

Day 8 Tallinn - Riga
On a walking tour of Tallin's Upper and Lower Old Town, visit the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Then, visit Toompea Castle and see the 14th century gothic Town Hall. This afternoon, travel to Riga, the capital of Latvia (B, D).

Day 9 Riga
Riga, the largest of the Baltic capitals founded in 1201, is often referred to as the “Paris of the Baltics.” Your morning sightseeing tour includes Riga Castle, Dome Cathedral, St, Jacobs Cathedral, St. Peter's Church, the Parlamient building, Liberty Monument and the district of Art Nouveau houses. The afternoon is at leisure for your own exploration. (B)

Day 10 Riga - Vilnius
Depart this morning for Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. The rest of the day is at leisure to begin exploring the city with its interesting architecture. (B, D)

Day 11 Vilnius
The city of Vilnius is located at the confluence of the Neris and Velnele Rivers. Your morning sightseeing includes a panoramic walking tour of the Old Town to see such renowned sights as St. Peter and Paul Church and St. Anne's Church, Vilnius University, Gediminas' Tower in the Upper Town and Vilnius Castle. The afternoon is free or you may choose to take an optional excursion to Trakai, beautifully set on three lakes. (B)

Day 12 Vilnius - Warsaw
This morning drive through the landscapes of Lithuania on your way to cross the border into Poland. Then take in the Polish countryside, cities and towns as you head to Warsaw for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

Day 13 Warsaw
On a morning tour of Warsaw drive along the Royal Route from Castle Square to Wilanow Palace, the summer residence of Poland’s last king. Pass the Palace of Science and Culture, the Saxon Gardens, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Ghetto Memorial and the Barbican. Then walk through the Old Town to see Market Square and St. John's Cathedral. The rest of the day is at leisure or you may choose to take an optional afternoon Chopin concert. (B)

Day 14 Warsaw - Krakow
Leaving Warsaw you head for Czestochowa, the spiritual heart of Poland, to visit Yasna Gora Monastery with its famous Black Madonna. In the afternoon you will tour Auschwitz-Birkenau, the infamous concentration camps from WWII. Dinner and overnight in Krakow. (B, D)

Day 15 Krakow

Your sightseeing tour will start with a visit to Wawel Hill to see the Royal Castle and Cathedral. Walk through the Old Town and visit Market Square, Cloth Hall and St. Mary’s Church. The afternoon is free to enjoy the city on your own. (B)

Day 16 Krakow - Prague
Drive through the Polish countryside crossing into Slovakia and then the Czech Republic. Today’s final destination is Prague, with its baroque churches, promenades, parks and medieval Old Town. (B, D)

Day 17 Prague
Your city tour of Prague starts with a drive to Wenceslas Square, Strahov Stadium and Castle Square. You then walk to Hradcany Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral and the Royal Palace before crossing Charles Bridge to the Old Town and Jewish Ghetto where you will see Town Hall and the Astronomical Clock. Free time in the afternoon. (B)

Day 18 Prague - Vienna
Travel south to Vienna, the “City of Waltzes”, one of Europe's most elegant cities. (B)

Day 19 Vienna
A morning sightseeing tour features the Hofburg Palace, Belvedere Palace, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and other reminders of the city’s imperial past. Your afternoon is at leisure before a farewell dinner. (B, D)

Day 20 Vienna
Your Moscow to Vienna tour concludes after breakfast with a departure airport transfer. (B)
