Day 1 Athens
Welcome to Athens! Embarkation is from 2.00pm. Enjoy a welcome drink and dinner before your ship sets sail for the island of Ios. Overnight at sea to Santorini.(D)

Day 2 Ios – Santorini
Sail towards Santorini and stop for a refreshing swim at one of Greece’s most beautiful beaches, Manganari Beach, Ios. Afternoon arrival into breathtaking Santorini with its multi-coloured cliffs topped by villages of white Cycladic houses that spill down the terraced rock. Go ashore and take a cable car to one of the main towns, Fira. You have the option of joining a tour to Akrotiri, a city buried in ashes from the volcanic eruption in 1600 BC. The tour will finish in Oia, which is famous for its glorious sunsets. Overnight at sea to Patmos. (B, D)

Day 3 Patmos
This morning we arrive into Patmos, know as 'Holy Island'. Start your day with an optional tour of Patmos and visit the UNESCO World heritage site, the Cave of the Apocalypse, where Saint John recorded the visons he received in the Book of the Revelations. You will also visit the Monastery of St. John located in the historic centre of the medieval town Chora. This afternoon enjoy free time to visit the village of Skala filled with picturesque taverns, restaurants, bars and shops or enjoy a relaxing afternoon swimming at one of the many beautiful beaches. Overnight in Patmos. (B, L)

Day 4 Patmos – Kusadasi – Samos
Early morning departure for Kusadasi,Turkey. Upon arrival you will be offered an optional tour to Ephesus, the greatest archaeological site in the Aegean region. Discover the remarkably preserved Greek and Roman city which Cleopatra and Mark Anthony rode in procession more than two thousand years ago. After lunch enjoy some free time before we set sail the island of Samos. Late afternoon arrival into the quaint port of Pythagorion. This afternoon you will have time explore the narrow alleys of the city, enjoy a relaxing swim or dine at one of the many seaside cafes. Late in the evening we sail to Delos. Overnight at sea. Day 5 Delos – Mykonos
Morning arrival in Delos, the mythical birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. Embark on a 2 hour optional walking tour to the archaeological ruins unearthed here in the 19th century, with many ancient monuments and buildings that are still intact today. We then sail towards Mykonos with a stop in a bay for a refreshing swim and lunch. Afternoon arrival into Mykonos and enjoy your evening at leisure. We recommend taking a stroll through the narrow streets and discover the brilliant white houses along the way, visit the archaeological museum or maritime museum and visit a local bakery that has been baking bread in wood-fired ovens since the 15th century. Enjoy your free evening in Mykonos with a glass of ouzo and traditional 'mezedes' appetizers or experience the world famous night life. Overnight in Mykonos. (B, L)

Day 6 Mykonos – Tinos
Enjoy a morning of scenic sailing and stop at Ysternia beach for a swim and barbeque. After lunch sail into Tinos harbour. Discover the unspoilt architecture, picturesque villages, beautiful beaches and traditional culture. You will have the opportunity of joining an optional excursion of Tinos villages, Exomvourgo and Volax. Visit famous basket weavers of Tinos and the workshops of marble sculptors in Pyrgos. Overnight in Tinos. (B, L)

Day 7 Tinos – Kythnos – Athens
Early departure for the return journey to Athens, stopping en-route at Kolones Beach, Kythnos. Enjoy a relaxing swim and barbeque lunch at Kolones beach before Sailing to Cape Souion. Late afternoon arrival to Cape Sounion for farewell drinks and dinner under the Temple of Poseidon, before cruising back to Athens. Overnight Athens. (B, D)

Day 8 Athens
After breakfast it is time to say farewell to your fellow travellers and crew. Your Aegean Odyssey cruise concludes on disembarkation in Athens between 9 and 10am. (B)
